just out of curiosity what is the vj prize?
and will the vj winner get to drop vision to
creative a class mixing of the the winning dj?

The VJ prize is the same as the DJ prize. There will be 2 overall winners, which can be either DJs, VJs or both.
Prizes are the same.

VJs will need to mix vision to their own audio mix (DJ mix).

thats so awesome, so so cool!!
i should have a vj mix or 2 up in the
coming week. i cant mix audio so well
so ill just drop vision over a track.

So does this mean there are no prizes that are capable of playing visuals?
or can the cdjs be swapped for dvjs if a VJ wins one of the prize packs?

Hey Jem, I read over the guidelines and I think the VJs must provide their own audio dj mix/mash along with their visuals, rather than having visuals over one stand alone track.
I think thats the main reason why the prizes are the same for both categories

Ye I read that too not quite sure how i am gona do the dj mix yet????
But the prize not a whole lot of good to me if I can't play visuals on it as that is what I do
Will give the audio mixing a go in the mean time and get my visuals up and running
